Default Newbie Hero control questions and an EOTN question

Hi everyone, I've been playing guild wars on and off for a few months now. I still don't grasp everything though I don't think, or maybe I am just wishing for some features that aren't here, but in any case I do have a few questions.

Question one: Is there a way I can make it not automatically attack an enemy when I click on it (besides clicking on it while holding down the supress action key?)

Question two: Is there any way I can set the party/priority target besides holding down control and using an ability? The thing in options lets me change how I target the enemy who is a priority target, but doesn't let me set my own without starting to use an ability or attacking.

Question three: Basically the reason this stuff is relevant to me is because I've found that if I tell my hero(s) or party to move to an area, they tend to run right through enemies that are there. Yet if I tell them to attack the enemies, they usually will not move towards it unless we are already very near them. I really hope there is a way to tell them to move to an area and attack things they encounter on the way...

Question four: Once you get to level 20 and start playing eye of the north stuff (I bought it recently but I don't have a level 20 rp character yet so I haven't really used it) what is a good class to play for the missions? For instance if there happens to be a lot of necromancers trying to beat the game I don't want to play a necromancer, and I'm sure there's lots of warrior monks, but if Paragons for example are helpful and in short supply I could level up one of those.

Thank you very much for all replies! I know these are random and perhaps odd questions but I honestly hope to get them all answered.

Yes. You can press your tab key, or your # key (UK keyboard layout) to select an enemy target and not attack. If you want your heroes to stop attacking altogether, bring up their control panels and tell them to "avoid combat".

Select a target without attacking, then hold CTRL+Shift+Space. You can also give targeting orders to your heroes by selecting the target you want them to attack and clicking on the crosshair button in their control panels to lock that enemy as their target.

If you want your heroes to attack anything on sight, bring up their control panels and set them into "attack" mode. They will then automatically engage any enemy target that wanders into aggro range. If the party is moving, or if a hero is moving towards a target flag that you have placed, your heroes will not start attacking until they stop moving (either by you stopping moving or by reaching the flag that you placed).

All of the professions are more or less balanced, so you will not be at any particular disadvantage if you choose one profession over another. Just play with whichever professions you enjoy and you can't go wrong

Or you can just flag them away from the enemy. A lot quicker that way.
